Father's Day in Great Falls

 

 

Cousin time in Great Falls. Celebrating a very happy father's day with Ong (grandpa) and the rest of the family.

Dek with BFF Conor and two pool noodles. Suffice to say they had way too much fun beating each other up.

Does this have whey?

We searched far and wide for a dairy-free frozen treat while visiting the Eastern Shore but turns out the creamery in town had some excellent sorbet. Dek looks concerned but he ate the whole cone.

Sitting by the Dock of the Bay

 

 

Our house in Easton backed up into a little creek, so Dek and Mercy enjoyed the little dock. Sadly, we did not take advantage of the kayaks and explore more. Maybe next time.

Catching the Oxford Ferry

 

In our June trip to Eastern Shore, we stayed in the quaint town of Oxford. Its so small that there is no grocery store, but they did have a good ice cream shop. They also operated the oldest privately owned ferry in the U.S., we hopped over and drove up to St. Michael's. Dek loved the boat (even though he doesn't look like it here). We dragged the whole family, including grandparents and great grandma with us. Good times.
